General Policy for Guest Users
Arrival time: is no earlier than 4PM and departure is no later than 2PM (except
'day use' or specific permission from the camp manager). Arrival time is
the time at which the first person(s) associated with the guest group can arrive
on the EMBC property. Depending on the schedule of other camps, these
times may be extended with 2 weeks advance permission of the Camp Manager.
Special arrangements for advance deliveries of supplies shall be made and cleared with the Camp Manager.
The Camp Manager has sole authority to allow schedule adjustments and advance deliveries.
Damage Deposit/Reservation: EMBC schedules dates up to one year in advance for open dates.
Church groups shall have preference for reservations until September 1 of the year preceding
the reservation date. A reservation/damage deposit of $250 shall be made when the date is scheduled.
For cancellations made, 50% of the fee shall be refunded. A contract (guest user agreement)
providing the details of use shall be signed upon reservation of dates. All specifics and exceptions must be stated in
writing to be valid. Please let us know how we may best assist you. We will try to be flexible and accommodating to your specific needs. The Camp Manager and/or his delegate shall have discretion in forfeiture of damage deposit. Repeated infractions shall result in the doubling of damage deposit for future use. If no infractions are determined and the above required attendee list is provided, the deposit shall be credited on your billing statement.
EMBC reserves the right to deny the use of the camp facilities.
Important 2012 change: The damage deposit and reservation fee is now one payment that must be received with
your guest user agreement form before your dates are reserved. Also: we will no longer roll over the reservation fee;
this must be paid each time of use and will be credited on your billing statement barring no damages.
Upon Arrival: The group leader is to report to the Camp Manager or his designee. The chain
of authority must be clear to all parties and this allows us to know who is in charge.
It also helps the guest user group to know who to contact with problems and questions that arise.
The damage deposit shall be provided, and the representative of the guest group will be responsible to go over the
facilities with Camp Manager to determine any previous damages and the condition of all facilities, including cleanup.
If guest group representatives do not go over the facilities beforehand, the Camp Manger's word will be taken
concerning any damages, theft, etc.
The changes listed above will not go in to effect until October 2012.
