Welcome to Eastern Montana Bible Camp (EMBC)
Eastern Montana Bible Camp (EMBC) is a non-denominational, nonprofit, Christian facility whose goal is to encourage young Christians to have a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and to offer His saving Grace to those who don't know Him.
News & Highlights
“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”
- Psalm 9:1 (NIV)
Thanksgiving is upon us. A day set aside to count our blessings and give thanks to God for all He has done. The origins of this holiday go back to 1621 when Pilgrims from Plymouth Colony along with Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast. However, over the past few years, I have noticed a movement to stop celebrating Thanksgiving. The reasoning behind this is because people have been focusing on some truly terrible acts which were committed by settlers in North America.
I believe this reaction of ceasing Thanksgiving celebration altogether is the exact opposite of the response we should have. Instead, this observance should be a reminder to us of what happens when we stop giving thanks to God and forget His blessings. When we do that, we start to put ourselves in a place of honor, as if it is by our hands that we have been blessed. This type of thinking leads us to forget the hand of God in guiding our steps and to forget the many times He has brought others into our lives to help us. It further leads us to stop watching out for others and to view ourselves as more important than our neighbors.
Thanksgiving, however, should humble us. It should cause us to examine our lives, be grateful for all of the ways God has blessed us and worked in our lives over the years, and recognize the ways He continues to work in our lives today. Thanksgiving should allow us to see all of the people whom God has placed in our lives and be thankful to them for how they have shaped us and helped us grow. It should also cause us to want to seek out others in need of help and be eager to bless them because of all the ways God has richly blessed us. So, let’s not forget God’s blessings in our lives but instead let us be thankful for them each and every day.
This Thanksgiving, we at EMBC are grateful for His blessings over the past year and are thankful for all of you who attended camp, gave of your time and talents, supported our ministry, and prayed for us. God has blessed us through all of you and we are truly thankful for each and every one who helped this past year run smoothly.
Happy Thanksgiving from Eastern Montana Bible Camp!

Thank you to all who braved the weather and roads to come to EMBC.
We are looking forward to what God has in store for EMBC.
Jesus is the Way, the truth and the Life. No one can come to God except by Him
Jesus was born of a virgin, was God in the flesh and gave His sinless life as a payment for the sins of anyone who will accept Him as Lord and Savior
Jesus raised three days after His crucifixion and lives in Heaven to make intercession for believers. He has promised to return one day to receive Christians unto Himself at which time we will inherit eternal life with Him in Heaven
We offer different camps that range from one day, to an entire week. There are camps for Kindergartners all the way to graduated high school seniors. There are even events for men, women, and even your whole family.
There is more than one way to donate to camp. Examples being time, items/supplies, and monetary gifts.
The camp facilities can be reserved and used for events such as family reunions and other social gatherings.
